Through growth, adversity and achievement, entrepreneurs wear many hats. To successfully scale a company, business leaders need to make the transition from “entrepreneur” to “professional,” and from an entrepreneurial company to a professional company.
Often, a singular leader leads in a singular fashion and it’s all about one person’s goals. As a leader of a growing group of talented individuals, I have discovered the value of thinking and leading more globally. There’s a saying: “Human beings hallucinate when not communicated to.” As a company grows, a leader needs to, early and often, address any undertones or rumblings that take place culturally within an organization. Our leadership team developed a weekly company-wide, interactive video conference to connect the hearts of our team. We talk about what’s working, share information and ideas, and address challenges to gain genuine perspective and rapport. It’s a time to ask transparent questions and it allows the organization to be authentic. This provides the whole group access to leaders and creates trust. It reminds every one of our company’s purpose and the principles that enable our customers to enjoy doing business with us. Continue reading the rest of this story >>
Wow! What a spectacular Wellness Fair for Paramount employees in Roseville. Thirty vendors displayed and explained their services throughout our lovely 5 acre property. A Velcro bounce house and a hoopla hoop contest added to the fun. Lots of great raffle gifts from our vendors were given away to winning employees who answered several trivia questions about the attending vendors. The grand prize of a bike was donated by AFLAC. Of course we fed everyone too; have to eat to keep up your strength!
Paramount is committed to helping their employees live healthy lifestyles by events given through our FIT U wellness program. Kaiser Permanente offered free screening for cholesterol levels and blood pressure while offering all participants a $50 gift card just for participating in the screening.
Special shout out to our Vendors, thank you for making our 4th Annual Wellness Fair such a huge success!
I would like to take a second to thank you for Dwayne! He has been such a wonderful help to me over the last several years and I am so faithful to him. I have nothing but the utmost trust and loyalty to him – for helping me when I needed it the most (with a refi 7 years ago in my divorce) to improving my rates. I have gone with new recommended insurance for Home and Auto, and now – my newest ‘adventure’ – Solar!
Actually, everyone I have met and dealt with at Paramount has been awesome. You are all like family to me. Actually, better than family – I turned down family with offers to refinance and stayed with my tried-and-true Dwayne. I count him as a friend. I am crazy about everyone he has point me in touch with along the way … appraisals (Sarah), singings (Sabrina), insurance (Aurora and Jason), Solar (Hana) – and the entire SolarCity team!
And, not you! Thank you for helping me with the ‘Green’ check and especially for having such a great, caring team of people. The attitudes always start at the top and are reflected throughout the organization. Good job!
I just wanted to say THANK YOU! I appreciate Paramount Equity® and Dwayne is your great ambassador. Please have a wonderful day! ~karen :]

Karen, thank you for your testimonial! We’re happy that all three of our sister companies, Paramount Equity® Mortgage, Paramount Energy Solutions and Paramount Equity® Insurance Services all delivered and helped you save thousands for years to come!
Last July, we started up our solar division, Paramount Energy Solutions. Our goal was to help homeowners make the switch to renewable solar power and save money on their utility costs. One year later, we are now the ONLY solar provider in the areas we serve to have installed solar on their own roof! Not only have we made an investment in the health of the environment, but by utilizing solar energy, it saves us a significant amount on our utility costs each month!
Check out the aerial photos shot by one of our solar specialists below. Earlier this this year we also had our headquarters certified as a Wildlife Habitat.
We would like to thank all our employees and customers who helped get us here; 7 years wouldn’t have been possible without all of you! It’s been an amazing ride and we can hardly wait to see what Paramount Equity® looks like a year from now!
In Northern California, it’s not uncommon to spot wild turkeys wandering past the windows, or see a bluebird alight gently onto the perch of his birdhouse. On a daily basis, we hear the quack-quack of mallard ducks as they fly overhead, and hear the splash as they land in the stream flowing through a grassy meadow. In springtime, we are serenaded by the sunshine-infused cheers of a chorus of songbirds.
If this sounds more like a habitat refuge to you than a corporate headquarters, you’re right.
Last fall, Paramount Equity®‘s executives spent 8 days in Mali, Africa helping to build a schoolhouse. Customers, employees and friends raised $37,000 for buildOn, an organization which builds schools in developing countries.
“As the father of three young children I believe all kids should receive a basic education to help them rise above poverty,” said Hayes Barnard, president of Paramount Equity®. “I’m elated that my co-workers and our customers share the sentiment and am so proud of our team for taking part in this incredible effort to help the world’s youth. I encourage everyone to be a good global citizen and help others any way they can.”
